This is one of those martinis that everyone can enjoy! You can adjust your pineapple juice or chambord to your desired sweetness.
Our Saturday was spent traveling through half our state for two basketball games and one birthday party, all while wasting some time in between.
By the end of the day, The Better Half and I were deserving of a little wind down time with a delicious cocktail. One of my favorite martinis is a French Martini and my honey is so good at whipping one up for me.
Along with the vodka, it has Chambord and pineapple juice. I don’t love it terribly sweet and Bill knows just the right amount for my tastebuds. He also knows the key is to shake the heck out of the shaker. This will leave a nice layer of froth on the top which I love. I was so eager to relax on my couch with this cocktail that I didn’t even take the time to take pretty pics, so this is all I got.
- 2 oz vodka
- ¼ oz Chambord® raspberry liqueur
- 1 oz pineapple juice
- Combine all ingredients over ice in a cocktail shaker.
- Give it a really good shake.
- Pour into a martini glass and garnish with lemon or lime.
