When the crisp, cool autumn air arrives, I head to my local nursery and stock up on a beautiful arrangement of mums, pumpkins and gourds. I love the color they bring to an outdoor space. They are so welcoming and they make a striking statement!
I never seem to make the same display twice, but whether planting the mums in my flower beds or in my planters, crafting an outdoor autumn display is one of my favorite fall activities. Working outside with a chill in the air also makes it a perfect opportunity to get in the spirit and enjoy a warm fall-inspired beverage.Celestial Seasonings is what I’ve been enjoying lately. These teas are full of flavor, have several unique blends, and are a wonderful price point too. It’s definitely a hidden treasure that I found at Walmart!I can’t wait to sip the Honey Vanilla Chamomile and Sleepytime when I’m cozying up inside. But today, while I enjoy the outdoors with all my fall goodies, I am really loving a cupful of the Vermont Maple Ginger tea. Sipping on this puts me in my fall groove with its rich feel-good flavor. Plus, they had me at ginger which is something I always savor. Celestial Seasonings packaging is really impressive too. They are in a natural fiber, pillow-style tea bag that doesn’t need a string, tag, staple or individual wrapper. I learned that by doing this, it saves more than 3.5 million pounds of waste from entering landfills each year! And they carefully source their ingredients ensuring the freshest quality herbs so, no wonder it tastes amazing. I am always up for a seasonal pumpkin spiced latte, but with this Vermont Maple Ginger tea, I get a rich, flavorful sip without any guilt because it has zero calories. High quality teas that are good for me and good for the world? Thank you, Celestial Seasonings! As this hot cup of goodness warms me on the inside, it somehow makes my quiet afternoon (did I mention I am home alone!?) planting mums and decorating my front porch one of the most relaxing things I’ve done for myself in a long time.Keep your eye out for them in the coffee and tea aisle at Walmart or go ahead and buy your favorite flavor online. What flavor will you choose?

When fall germs roll around at our house, I keep Country Peach Passion tea, local honey and apple cider on hand! Nothing better to warm up with and help with the chill and congestion. I heat up and steep the tea, put in a generous spoonful of honey and a splash of apple cider. Depending on age of kid and how hot they like it, this cools it down and adds more flavor. We have done this since they were just old enough to hold the tea cup.
