This fall has been my most hectic one yet. Now that my youngest is participating in organized sports too, I have an additional carpool after school. There are days that I get behind the wheel at 3:00 and do not return home for several hours. This is one reason meal prepping and planning ahead of time is essential in our house.
It’s not just important that I’m on top of things with dinner-prep, but it is also important that I’m organized when it comes to snacking.
The kids and I have come to rely on snacking in the car before they head off to soccer, basketball, dance, or running practice. When we are on the go like this, it’s easy to make poor food choices, so I always make sure to keep a snack that I can feel good about in the car.
We are big fans of Harvest Snaps! In fact, we keep a few bags of them in our center console of our car for on-the-go munching.Harvest Snaps are a quick, convenient and healthier snack option for refueling in the car after school. I love that they are crisp like a potato chip, but much lighter because they are made from wholesome green peas, red lentils or black beans, straight from the farm and baked into pure snack perfection.
Harvest Snaps are the real deal and they cut down on sibling rivalry in my car too. Seriously, they do! Since there are nine deliciously crispy varieties, my kids each pick their own flavor-bursting bag to share in the car so everyone can be “snack satisfied.”
Real vegetables are the first ingredient, so it makes sense that you can find these right in the Produce aisle alongside the other vegetables.

We get them at ShopRite and my MC has tried every flavor! She’s the biggest fan of the Caesar, but was excited to try the new White Cheddar and Parmesan Roasted Garlic. The sharp and creamy White Cheddar flavor is going to give her go-to Caesar some competition! These aren’t just for the kids. When hunger strikes me on my drive from school to soccer field to park to gym to dance studio (whew!), these better-for-you veggie crisps mean I can enjoy snacking again without feeling guilty. I’m a big fan of the Wasabi Ranch and the Habernero. With the crunchiness and the kick of spice, just a few bites satisfy me and hold me over until dinnertime.
Knowing they are baked, not fried, and that there is a good source of plant-based protein and fiber in every serving is awesome.Harvest Snaps not only make me feel good about what I’m feeding my kids and my body, but it’s impressive what they are doing for our communities. They participate in the Kids 360 program. It’s a non-profit program with a mission to make a difference in the lives of children in need. To learn more about Kids 360, visit www.kids360charity.com

Green pea snack crisps are genius! This is a much healthier alternative to other snacks and I love that. I will definitely stock my cart with lots of these on my next trip to the grocery store!
