I’m taking this obsession into the bacon mania world. This mash up is amazing and incredibly easy to whip up.  Pumpkin Spice Candied Bacon #candiedbacon #pumpkinspicebacon #baconrecipes #pumpkinspicecandiedbacon

Pumpkin Spice Candied Bacon #candiedbacon #pumpkinspicebacon #baconrecipes #pumpkinspicecandiedbaconNow, if you’ll excuse me, I have some candied bacon to eat…

Have you made candied bacon before?

Pumpkin Spice Candied Bacon

Sweet, caramelized candied strips of pumpkin spice bacon will be your favorite new fall treat.

  • 8 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (firmly packed)
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • orange sugar (optional)
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil. Set a cooling rack on the foil.

  3. In a shallow bowl, combine the brown sugar and the pumpkin pie spice.

  4. Dredge the bacon slices on both sides and place on the rack.

  5. Bake until crisp and the edges are beginning to brown, about 22-25 minutes.

  6. Let cool for 5 minutes before handling.

Adjust cook time accordingly. Bacon should be caramelized and crisp and stand tall when held vertically.

For a festive touch, sprinkle orange sugar on the bacon when it comes out of the oven. It will give it a more vibrant orange color and sparkle.
