Ingredients

  • Pepperidge Farm Slider Buns white
  • Thinly sliced pastrami
  • Thinly sliced sharp provolone
  • Hand cut freezer fries cooked per package directions
  • Tomato thinly sliced

Cole Slaw

  • 1 head green cabbage shredded
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp celery seed
  • Hot sauce to taste

Instructions

Cole Slaw

  1. In a pot, combine the vinegar, oil and sugar. On low heat, stir occasionally until the sugar is dissolved.

  2. Remove from heat and add the salt, pepper, and celery seed.
  3. When cool, pour over the shredded cabbage and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour before serving, but best made the day before.

Slider

  1. On a flat grill top over medium heat, pile a generous serving of pastrami.

  2. When heated, place one piece of provolone on top and start to melt it. (the hot fries will do the rest of the work)

  3. Stack the pastrami and provolone on the bottom half of the slider bun.
  4. Put a handful of fries on top of the meat and cheese.
  5. Next, using a slotted spoon to drain any excess juice, place a spoonful of coleslaw on top of the fries.
  6. Place a slice of tomato on the slaw.
  7. Put the top of the bun on and chow down.
  8. For some heat, slather your slider in hot sauce.
