Last Minute Party Ideas for Game Day

Last Minute Party Ideas for Game Day #ad #FranklyDeliciousWings #Frank'sRedHot #FranksWingsAtWalmart #SuperBowlpartyideas

This post is sponsored by Frank’s RedHot but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

Whether you are a die-hard football fan or you are just in it for the commercials, chances are you’ll be spending Super Bowl Sunday in front of the TV.  It’s a great excuse to get together with friends, but if you’ve waited until the last minute to plan a get-together, I’ve got you covered.Procrastinators, instead of fumbling over a sophisticated party spread and getting stressed out, save yourself some time and energy, head to Walmart, and grab these shortcut game day-inspired party supplies.

Get in the spirit.

Pick up a black makeup crayon to give guests the fierce face of a football player. Have your guests dress in spirit wear too, like shirts in team colors or a jersey. Their gear alone will make the casual get-together feel football festive.

Ditch the dishwashing.

Napkins and paper goods are an easy way to sneak in some team spirit too, plus you get to minimize the clean-up by going disposable. Walmart has a variety of colorful plates so grab the right ones and let guests show who they are rooting for. If you want to go the extra distance, pick up some affordable plastic Super Bowl plates too. Serve your grub on them and make the feeding frenzy that much more fun.

Make the freezer your friend.

You don’t always have to be overzealous in the kitchen, especially when you want to watch the game with your guests. Save time and energy by hitting up the the freezer section in the snack and appetizer aisle at Walmart and pickup up some classic munchies like Frank’s RedHotOur favorite hot sauce, Franks RedHot, now has their own wings! They come in three delicious flavors, Frank’s RedHot Original, Kickin’ BBQ, and Buffalo flavor, perfect for a last-minute snack-fest.We knew we couldn’t go wrong with Frank’s RedHot Original.Did you know that Frank’s RedHot Cayenne Pepper Sauce was used as the secret ingredient for the first ever Buffalo Wings in Buffalo, New York, putting it on the map and starting the flavor craze that has led to consumers obsession with all things Buffalo-flavor? The sauce is a staple in our kitchen, so we know these easy-to-bake wings will be the MVP of our food spread.

Spice up your space.

A last minute party is no excuse for a boring space. Hit up the hardware section and grab some paint swatches in the team colors. With a few snips of your scissors, some toothpicks and tape, you can liven up your space with some mini pennant flags.Whip up a dip.

Pick up bite size snacks and popular finger foods too so your guests can graze during the game. Potato chips take no effort, but try dressing up the spread and personalizing them a bit with a quick and easy homemade dip. This whipped feta gets its flavor punch from lemon zest and Franks RedHot sauce. Its a fuss-free dip that guests will gobble up.Even if Super Bowl Sunday sneaks up on you, give yourself a break with these last minute ideas. You’ll still get plenty of high-fives.

Do you have any last minute game day party ideas?

Quick and Easy Whipped Feta Dip with a Kick

LOL! We were pretty psyched to learn about these wings too since we put this sauce on almost everything. They were really tasty with the same great flavor!

I don’t eat a lot of wings, so I have never tried the brand, but I’m sure my husband would love these. I like how you paired them with the fresh veggie tray and the dip. Your presentation is beautiful even for a casual football game. You are so clever to use the paint swatches for flag decor! My family mostly watches college sports, but when the super bowl rolls around, my football-loving family is all in. I’m usually blogging or doing something else! 😉
