This flavor-packed dip goes with simple snacks for an elegant and interactive appetizer experience perfect for your next Friendsgiving. Charcuterie boards are all the rage right now. They are meant to be crowd-pleasing, versatile and easy and that is one reason they are so popular.
For holiday entertaining, a basic charcuterie platter always works, but the holidays are also a time to get a little fancy and personalize your food while gathering with family and friends. Serving simple foods can be done with style and sophistication.Choose just a handful of food offerings and keep your selection effortless, but think about making the presentation elegant. Try transforming your simple food into the centerpiece of the table. With a little flair and a few decorative elements, you can outfit your space with an interactive and edible tablescape where guests can snack all night. How fun is that!?
I start my centerpiece with a soft runner, natural elements and pops of colorful seasonal produce. I begin layering my boards and serving pieces down the center of the table and nestling candles throughout.
When planning the food, variety is key here. I give my guests both savory and sweet things to nibble on. I think about texture too. Every bite should be an experience.
I load up on some of my favorite store-bought indulgences, like Sahale Snacks. These spiced nuts are delicious right out of the bag but, they also work beautifully with homemade dishes. I use the Naturally Pomegranate Vanilla Flavored Cashews Glazed Mix to top my Curry Bombay Dip. This dip is so easy to make but so totally stunning on the table! You simply mix together cream cheese, cheddar cheese, goat cheese and curry for the flavorful base. Then you top it with a sweet mango ginger chutney. It can be made in advance and refrigerated until party time. Before serving, it gets topped with toasted coconut, currants, golden raisins, scallions, and those crunchy spiced Pomegranate Vanilla Flavored Cashews.
The punch of pure ground Madagascar vanilla bean and pomegranate flavored apples on the roasted cashews just finish this dip off perfectly! The cashews are sweet, tart and crunchy and pair beautifully with the curry flavor. Talk about a crowd pleaser!
My friends love feasting on all these little bites! The mosaic of food and color is festive and fun and it is even a great conversation starter.
The colors are eye-popping! I love that my food acts as the decor and everything is ready when the party starts so I can sit down with my guests and enjoy the evening. There’s nothing quite so pleasing as entertaining in style without the stress.
There’s something for everyone at Friendsgiving with this edible centerpiece. This is definitely not your basic charcuterie arrangement.
What’s going on your table for your next get-together?Sahale Snacks are available in an assortment of other flavors including Valdosta Pecans Glazed Mix, Honey Almonds Glazed Mix, Naturally Pomegranate Flavored Pistachios Glazed Mix, Tangerine Vanilla Cashew-Macadamia Glazed Mix, Raspberry Crumble Cashew Trail Mix, and Maple Pecans Glazed Mix.
